Personal Projects

Built with love for all the Ghibli fans. Data fetched from Ghibli API using AJAX. Other tools I used are React and React Router V6. Currently, I am adding more features to it, including a search bar, user authentication, and more cool stuff!
"How Long Did I Work?" is a handy time range calculator that I built which takes in plain text and parses out any time ranges, then displays the total hours. I built this tool using vanilla JavaScript and used the date-fns library to do time calculations.
I used React to build this project which aims to bring awareness to an important historical site in my hometown of Longhua. I translated the original Chinese article to English and embedded Wikipedia links. I used React Router to build the menu.

First Prize Project - myBallot | WA

myBallot | WA was created to serve as a voter reference tool. It was built as an accompanying application to the Washington mail-in ballots, and as an environmentally conscious replacement of the paper Voters’ Pamphlet that is mailed to each registered voter.

Owl Hacks - Fall 2017

This was my first ever hackathon, at which I teamed with two other coders and spent 20+ hours making a game called 2048 Pink. My team won the People's Choice out of eight teams.

2048 Pink is a remake of the original game 2048 which was super popular when I was 15.
